"Remember your Creator in the days of your youth” Ecclesiastics 12:1
For all young people in Year 6 and through to Secondary School ages, we have an exciting youth group, which meets twice monthly. This is an opportunity to hang out, play, make friends and grow in their Christian faith.
This last year we have studied the book of Exodus and also the book of Daniel. The young people have been amazed how relevant the Bible is to their lives today. They may not face actual Lions but daring to stand for Jesus in 21st Century Britain can feel scary. We pray this group will help them to live their Christian lives with integrity, courage and enthusiasm.
Whether we are playing a wide game, board games, crafting or eating pizza the young people always have fun!
TN2 Youth meets on the second & forth Monday of each week from 7.15-8.45pm.
Please get in touch for information about where we meet and for more details.
From Secondary School age upwards, we encourage our young people to be in church with their friends and family.
Making notes may help them to engage with the service, and writing down anything they have questions about is a good practice to enabling them to begin taking part as young adults. This can also provide food for discussion later on in the day.
Our minister, Peter, is always delighted to discuss baptism with all people (young and old!) wishing to make public profession of faith in the Lord Jesus.
