David Gazzard
Lay Reader
David and his wife, Val, have lived in Tunbridge Wells for many years. Prior to retirement David worked as a ship’s officer and then in ship management ashore. He enjoys creating artwork, spending time with his grandchildren and reading his ever-growing theological library.
Susanna
Children's Ministry & Music
Susanna has co-led Sunday Club for eight years and she is passionate about the children’s ministry at Emmanuel! Like many Mums, Susanna juggles work, family and church commitments. During the week Susanna is involved with our toddler group, First Steps. She hosts a home group aimed at Mums with pre-school children and assists with Music on Sundays
Val Gazzard
Safeguarding Officer
Val is married to David. She supports our church in many ways, including as our Safe Guarding Officer. Val also very much enjoys time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren!
Rev. Dr. Peter Sanlon
Rector
The founding minister of Emmanuel Anglican Church is enthusiastic to help people get to know God better. Peter has served as a minister in Tunbridge Wells since 2013 and has been full time at Emmanuel since 2019. He enjoys days out with his wife and children, and is a good loser at competitive board games.
Andrew
Warden
Andrew is a local businessman. He is married to Lydia and they have four adult sons. Andrew's role as warden involves supporting the day to day running and development of the church.
Pam Dymond
Children's Ministry
Pam is a retired optometrist having worked for two independent family groups for 40 years. She is married to John and they have two adult daughters and two grandchildren. Pam has taught Sunday School for many years and is fully involved in the Sunday Club at Emmanuel! When not at church, Pam enjoys gardening, photography and family time.
