10.30am and 6.30pm
We meet at 10.30am and 6.30pm each Sunday for worship and we love to welcome visitors. Children are welcome at both services. At our services we sing a mixture of hymns, newer songs and psalms, listen to the preaching of God's word, bring to God our prayers and share fellowship afterwards.
Everyone is welcome at our church services, whether they are new to Christianity, just exploring or are veterans of the faith!
First Sunday of the Month
On the first Sunday of every month, after the 10.30am service, we stay for lunch together at church.
Our lunches are times of lovely friendship and fellowship together - always with an amazing array of delicious food.
Lunch is served in the cafe area or the main hall and these times are a terrific opportunity for new comers to get to know others in the church.
Sunday Club & Creche
Our morning services include a short children’s message and then the children leave for teaching in three age-appropriate groups from age 3-11.
Our Sunday School is run by a team of teachers and leaders, headed up by Pam and Susanna. We teach the children using a curriculum which takes them systematically through the Bible during their time in Sunday Club. As such, children will get most out of Sunday Club if they come every week. All our teachers are DBS checked and trained in safeguarding.
At least once a month (more during school holiday periods) there is no Sunday Club and families worship together as part of the main service.
For children under 3 we provide a play room with a video link, if parents need this space during the service.
Second & Forth Mondays - 7.15pm
For all young people in Year 6 and through to Secondary School ages, we have an exciting youth group, which meets at ‘The Pad’. This is an amazing space, given over to our young people twice a month, where they can hang out, play, make friends and grow in their Christian faith.
We always take time in our sessions to study the Bible with the Young People and encourage them in their faith. We pray this group will help them to live their Christian lives with integrity, courage and enthusiasm.
Whether we are playing a wide game in the garden or hosting a pool, darts and table tennis tournament, the young people always have fun!
TN2 Youth @ The Pad meets on the second & forth Monday of each week from 7.15-8.45pm.
All our youth leaders are DBS checked and trained in safeguarding.
First Steps Toddler Group
On Monday mornings we host a baby and toddler group at the Number One Library. This meets weekly from 10am to 11.30. First Steps is a ‘stay and play’ morning where we provide a wide range of lovely toys, activities and crafts and provide opportunity for parents and children to make new friends.
There is a voluntary donation of £2 per family and this goes towards providing the tea & coffee, cake, snack time for the children and the themed craft. Towards the end, we encourage everyone to stay for singing nursery rhymes and a short story from the Bible – to link into the craft we have done.
Please note that we will not meet during School Holidays or on Bank Holidays. This group is regretfully paused due to Covid-19, but we hope to restart the group as soon as is practically possible.
Sundays at 8pm
On Sunday Evenings after church we hope to launch a group for our 20s and 30s to gather in the cafe area for coffee, chat and to share Christian encouragement together. Due to Covid-19 we have been unable to launch this group, but as soon as we are able it is our hope to commence this group.
Food could be called in from a local take away and a range of games will be available. The aim is to create a low key and friendly group, providing a great way to get to know other Christians in the church.
This will be a support group for Christian young adults and those who are exploring the faith. If you would like to come along please speak to Peter.
Whole Church Prayer Meeting
Wednesdays at 8.00 pm
Corporate prayer is an essential part of any church.
We meet weekly to offer to God our worship and praise God; to thank Him for his many blessings and to bring before him our concerns and worries. We pray to God for our church, our town and needs further afield.
Various locations and times
Home groups run at various locations and at different times during the week. These are times of Bible study and fellowship and opportunity for personal prayer.
If you are interested in joining a home group, please speak to Peter. Home groups are currently meeting via zoom but will recommence meeting in person as soon as this is possible.
We also run Christianity Explored for those new to Christianity at different times during the year.
